    Really not happy.

    I was kind of shocked and disappointed when I received this “bamboo” soap dish. It is made from pine and not bamboo. It is sealed with a urethane, but still pine should not be used in moist environments.

    I am a forester in California. I certainly know the difference between pine and bamboo woods. The summer growth (dark rings) compared to spring growth (light rings), the extremely light weight, color of the wood are tell-tell signs of pine. The first picture is the soap dish I received and the second picture is an actual bamboo soap dish. Wood types are clearly different.
