Ingredients: grass-fed beef tallow, coconut oil, olive oil, natural essential oils (tea tree, rosemary, peppermint), aloe vera, kaolin clay, epsom salt, and nothing else!

Commercial shampoos contain synthetic chemicals, which strip hair of natural oils and dry your hair and scalp, so commercial conditioner is needed. Since natural shampoo bars do not strip hair of its natural oils, you won't need the commercial conditioner that you would normally use.

Switching to a natural, chemical-free shampoo bar can be a process for some people. Your hair might need to go through a detox process. Our natural shampoo bars contain no detergents, sodium lauryl sulfate, propylene glycol, formaldehyde, preservatives, artificial fragrance, colorants, or any other synthetic hair care chemicals and additives.

Conventional shampoos contain synthetic ingredients and waxes designed to make your hair feel smooth. Our natural shampoo bars do not contain waxes, chemicals, additives, or other synthetic ingredients, so your hair might feel different after washing because you are used to chemical and detergent-based shampoos.

Your transition will likely require an adjustment period. Everyone’s hair is different, so every person’s adjustment period may vary. Some people may take a few days to transition, while others may take a few weeks. Your hair will need that time to go through the withdrawal phase, to adjust to shampoo without those additives.

During the transition period, it should help to use a vinegar rinse. An apple cider vinegar rinse can help remove the chemical residue and build-up from previous products. Combine 3 tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar with about 8 oz of warm water in a cup. After washing and rinsing your hair, pour the rinse onto your wet hair. You can immediately rinse the vinegar out of your hair.

This vinegar rinse resets the pH of your hair back to its natural happy place, which will leave it looking and feeling shiny, smooth, and beautiful. Since the vinegar restores a natural pH, it also helps prevent an itchy scalp. Dry hair requires a little less vinegar and oily requires a little more.
